term, is to complete the following tasks in relation to the medium of NEWS. The following tasks should be completed and
posted on your homework blog (blogger). You are encouraged to be as creative as
possible in your presentation.
To help you with the following
tasks you might want to use the information sheet ‘News Values’ (No. 076), which
has been emailed to you. Please contact me if you have any issues
accessing this information sheet.
Task 1: News Infographic
- Put the following information (in the form of words, pictures and diagrams) into an infographic.
- Using the information on the worksheet ‘News Values’ (No. 076), according to Denis McShane (1979) and Harriss, Leiter and Johnson, what are news values?
- Through which different mediums/forms of media can we access news?
Task: 2
